Job Location: Saraburi Plant 1, Nongkhae District, Saraburi
Report to: Plant Manager
Job Responsibilities:
Competency Assessment & Training
- Assist the site manager in developing the site competency assessment and training program.
- Advise department managers and supervisors on legislative competency requirements.
- Identify external training providers for competencies that cannot be delivered in-house.
- Assist the site manager in reviewing the effectiveness of the site competency assessment and training program.
Environmental Care / Management
- Monitor adherence to statutory and environmental requirements, ISO 14001 guidelines.
- Conduct audits of manufacturing facilities to ensure environmental compliance.
- Represent the company on environmental issues and advise Plant Managers on non-compliances and improvements for better environmental performance.
Safety Information & Management
- Collect and analyze safety statistics and workplace accident data.
- Prepare reports on accidents and workplace discomfort, proposing corrective and preventive actions.
Workplace Health and Safety
- Manage safety to achieve zero lost-time injuries and medical treatment injuries per performance objectives.
- Ensure no chronic occupational health risks for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas that pose no health risks to employees or visitors.
Safety & Environmental Laws / Policies
- Regularly review the company’s safety and environmental laws compliance and policy manual.
- Ensure all necessary checks, audits, and corrective actions are performed in a timely manner.
Safety Meetings & Reporting
- Attend monthly safety meetings and take minutes.
- Ensure all meeting items are recorded and followed up promptly.
- Liaise with departments to maintain focus on resolving outstanding safety issues.
Audits & Checks
- Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly Environmental, Health, and Safety audits and checks.
- Advise personnel and managers on violations of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) guidelines.
- Enforce safety regulations, especially work permit systems.
- Coordinate with external auditors for effectiveness audits and compliance.
Assistance & Advice to Managers and Supervisors
- Advise managers and supervisors on Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) matters.
Injury Management and Rehabilitation

Manage immediate needs of injured personnel and neutralize further safety risks.
Lead accident investigations and execute corrective actions promptly. - Coordinate rehabilitation programs to minimize lost time and hardship for injured employees.
OH&S Employee Inductions
- Develop and implement induction programs for new employees, contractors, and visitors on site safety procedures and guidelines.
Financial & Reporting
- Assist in preparing budgets for safety and environmental areas.
- Develop reporting frameworks for OH&S, including monthly and annual reports.
- Ensure timely and clear report submissions, meeting budget objectives and seeking cost reduction.
Human Resources & Workplace Relations
- Ensure sufficient training for employees to meet performance objectives and prepare for future personnel changes.
- Manage workplace relations to maintain a harmonious working environment.
Waste Management - Ensure waste disposal complies with government regulations and company policies.
- Supervise waste reclamation operations to ensure minimal off-site waste requirements.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field with certification as an Occupational Safety Officer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Moderate command of spoken and written English. Able to communicate for daily work interactions, including reports, and documentation.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Work across departments and with different stakeholders to foster a culture of safety and compliance throughout the plant.
- Proactive and Safety-First Mindset. Always anticipate potential hazards and prioritize safety.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental laws.
- Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigations in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 requirements is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently. Take initiative, manage tasks with minimal supervision, and demonstrate accountability.
- Ability to work as a part of a team. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
Experience:
- 3 - 5 years of hands-on experience in safety management practice within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience in implementing health, safety, and environmental programs.
- Experience conducting safety audits and incident investigations is preferred.
